LG has a lot going on these days with their lineups over at Verizon Wireless and AT&T, but worldwide blockbuster success is next. LG has decided to go the Hollywood route in order to increase exposure and hope to reach opening night box office sales with its phones with the LG VX9400 and LG KS20. With a quick translation from the LG news media website thanks to Google the following details emerge:

LG and Paramount Studios have announced a partnership which will bring two of LG’s handsets to the upcoming Iron Man movie May 2, 2008. In the film the Iron Man Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) will be talking on Verizon’s LG VX9400 TV phone, while his assistant Virginia “Pepper” Potts (Gwenyth Paltrow) will go around using LG KS20 touchscreen smartphone (the LG Prada’s cousin).

The move is smart and will only drive additional sales to help bring LG another outstanding year in wireless phone sales after their incredible 2007 numbers.
