It seems that the BoyGenius has come across some news about the T-mobile release of the not so amazing Nokia 3555. The current speculation is that the phone will launch on T-mobile’s network sometime in March 2008, but as usual do not plan around a specific date because carriers always have their own agenda. If the past is any predictor of the future for T-mobile we should see an official statement in the coming weeks and as usual the retail sales channels will be unable to confirm a specific date. The big news with this release is that the unit supports the UTMS 1700 Band (The 3G flavor for T-mobile USA). This could mean that 3G for T-mobile might not be such a distant pipe dream.
Too bad every T-mobile launch could not be as well planned as the Sidekick lineup, you have to admire the way they stick to a date and offer exclusive purchasing for existing users before the general public.
