TI HD Mobile Phone Projector

Who says you can’t have the best of both worlds? Texas Instruments (TI) has announced that they have several new mobile chips ready for production which will provide their “pico projection” with the ability to project high definition video on the wall or screen of your choice directly from your mobile phone.  In addition to the projector capabilities of the new chips, there will also be a much more important feature; HD Video Recording.  Since Nokia is one of the biggest consumers of TI chips we can expect next year to be very interesting in the world of High Defintion recording on mobile phones and high defintion video output on either your HD set or projected on your wall.  The important pieces of information here is that the chips are ready and the techonology is here to deliver the products.  Texas Instruments expects the chips to hit devices starting next year so we will have a long 10 months of waiting, but the prize should be amazing.
