DoubleTwist: Share Any Media From Any Device

article Nick Marshall

double twist

DVD Jon has become a household name in recent years after he cracked the DVD code and Apple’s FairPlay DRM.  News on the street is that DVD Jon is making a move towards legitimizing his skills through a collaboration with Monique Farantzos who has founded DoubleTwist Ventures.  The idea is simple enough: turn multimedia (audio/video) formats into captions in the book of tech by providing capability to convert any media from any device.  The grand scheme is to have multimedia formats reach the compatibility of email which are readable by any device and universally independent from the program used to generate that email.  Not only will you be able to convert your mp4 videos and windows media format, but the goal is to allow compatibility within social network websites and sharing tools.  The DoubleTwist desktop client is currently in open beta so go ahead and checkout DoubleTwist here.
