Over at Sprintusers.com you can always find some hot news about Sprint whether it’s devices or services. PCSuser has released some solid information and has always been a very reliable source over at Sprintusers so we have faith in passing this information on to everyone; below are the big 2008 Sprint changes
1. With the Airave coming out in April for its national launch this will hopefully help out people who do not get good service at their homes; and this will also give you a good reason to cancel your home phone service – with their unlimited anytime minutes via Airave for $15.
2. qChat is coming in April with the LG, and Sanyo 200 reported to be in by the 16th of the month. And later in the month of April we should see the Sanyo 700, and the Samsung z400
3. 99% of Sprint customers will be transffered onto the new Ensemble billing platform by the end of March – meaning that the Pick3 (and other features) that are not available to those on P2K will be available to almost everyone! And at this point they should start to be advertised as add-ons, and what not.
4. Also, at an unspecified date Sprint will also be creating new plans; and possibly releasing an Unlimited Plan to compete with other carriers in the nation.
5. Sprint is re-vamping its Customer Service experience with the new online forums (BuzzAboutWireless), online e-care chats, shorter wait times, CustomerAssist program, online ESN swaps, more pressure on Sprint reps to make them preform better such as the “color system” thats now in place and much more!
6. Sprint will launch Xohm in partnership with ClearWire. Welcome to the world of WiMax!
Anything else thats big going on with Sprint this year; be it products, services, or customer service?
(Well without further a-do, I though we might be able to create a thread for the upcoming stuff that Sprint has planned – and since there is so much, maybe convene it to one thread here; instead of creating clutter.)
