AOL Desktop for Mac OS X has been updated. We are not sure how many Mac users actually use Mac Desktop, but the fact that AOL is doing some updating for our Mac brothers out there is still appreciated. Here are the lists of upgrades:
“AOL® is back on the Mac® with a brand new release that’s been built specifically with Mac users in mind. The AOL Mac team is pleased to announce a special “Sneak Peek” of the new AOL Desktop for Mac. This preview release is available for all Tiger® and Leopard® users (10.4.8 or higher).
There have been a number of improvements including but not limited to: “Standardized contextual menus for Buddy Chat Fixed application stability issues with built-in AIM client Selecting Report Spam from the Spam folder moves the message to the Inbox Fixed issue when moving nested folder Updated customization capability of the main toolbar”.
If you happen to be using OS X on your Mac and have been turned off by the stability problems and other known bugs in the previous release of AOL Desktop why don’t you go ahead and give the new update a try and report back to us. We are interested in finding out some user feedback on the new update to see how well AOL is treating those Mac users out there.
