HTC Video Driver Issue Statement

    It looks like HTC has decided to release some official statements regarding the video performance on their newest wave of devices (AT&T Tilt,TYTN II/Sprint Mogul, VX6800/HTC Touch, XV6900 ).  The video drivers have been an issue for quite some time and have caused HTC owners to unite to form a petition that would eventually result in a class action lawsuit against HTC.  The ATI Imageon video acceleration hardware in these devices lacked appropriate drivers.  So why did HTC fail to provide drivers for the video acceleration hardware? Licensing issues.
