The iPhone SDK is almost confirmed to be delayed at this point as well as the Apple Event that was originally scheduled for Feb 26 of this coming week. With only 2 days before the event and no word from Steve Jobs it is pretty clear that we are going to see a delay of some sorts. But why all the fuss? Well the potentially big news that will be announced at the Apple Event scheduled for Feb 26 could be anything from a new line of MacBook Pros, 3G iPhones or the official iPhone SDK being released.
Delays are always a big part of tech, but maybe there is a bigger picture we are just not seeing at this point. Maybe Apple has just worked themselves to death and need a break like everyone else in this world. Since 2008 started there has been some sort of device or announcement nearly every Tuesday and the last announcement (MacBook Air) did not go over so well. Let’s cross our fingers and hope we see the iPhone SDK kit within the next couple weeks and some official news on a 3G iPhone with a release date would be enough to satisfy our Apple cravings for the coming months.
