Sony Ericsson phones have been following a fairly consistent naming structure (all the phones end with an “i”), but that is changing with the 2008 lineup.  Our friends over at the Unofficial Sony Ericsson Blog have put together a nice little explanation of the device series being released by Sony Ericsson this year.  With the introduction of the G700 and G900 at the Mobile World Congress, the G-series is the lower end series compared to the XPERIA series.  Also added at the Mobile World Congress was the Cyber-shot series which will have a new “sub-brand” called Snapshot containing new stylish phones in different form factors poorer equipped than the Cyber-shot models.  The last addition will be the smaller brother of the Walkman line, the poorer equipped Radio line.
