With the demise of HD DVD and the slashing prices comes the most magnificent deals.  Kmart has taken the big leap into the HD DVD drive slashing by offering up the Xbox 360 HD DVD add-on drive for a mere $49 dollars.  Let’s not forget that you get a free HD DVD movie inside the box (King Kong) and there are nearly 500 titles available on the HD DVD format to purchase for deep discounts as well.  Although the format war is over it will be very interesting to see how many people still go out and buy the HD DVD drives just to have their own personal collection of must have high definition movies.
