If you use Windows Mobile like the majority of smartphone/pocket pc owners out there you use Google and its vast array of services.  To help bring some additional functionality to our mobiles, Google2Go! was released today.  To give you an idea of what exactly makes Google2Go! better than simply visiting google.com on your phone let’s review the full feature list:

  • Google Web/Image Search
  • Google Local Search
  • Gmail
  • Google Calendar
  • Google Reader
  • Google Docs
  • Picasa
  • Google News
  • Google Notes

That’s pretty much everything we could ask for in a mobile app so go ahead and head on over and download a copy of Google2Go!.  Current support for Windows Mobile Professional and Standard edition devices is available (touch screen and non-touch screen).  Some additional pieces of information you might want to know is that Google2Go! requires Microsoft’s .Net Compact Framework 2.0 and supports QVGA in landscape.
