RIM (Research In Motion) has just announced that a deal with SingTel (Singapore Telecommunications Limited), the leading Singapore mobile carrier, will bring the Blackberry Pearl 8110 GPS enabled unit to their customers. Now there are several different flavors of the Blackberry Pearl 8100 series (8100, 8110 and 8130). For Sprint and Verizon Customer here in the United States we are most familiar with the Blackberry 8130 which has seen success recently as we can expect from the 8110 landing in Singapore. The BlackBerry Pearl 8110 smartphone is now available from SingTel at a suggested retail price of SGD538 with a 2-year contract.
