No iPhone Multi-tasking, Seriously?

article Nick Marshall

 No iPhone Multi-tasking, Seriously?

Let’s hope this is simply a rumor and the iPhone Human Interface Guidelines PDF (found here) is sadly mistaken.  We will await and official response from Apple, but at this point things are not looking very peachy for the multi-tasking world of the iPhone SDK (software developer kit).  This would really be a shame for the millions of those AOL Instant Messenger users out there who were hoping to switch back and forth between AIM’s/Emails/SMS chats.

If you are running an application such as AOL Instant Messenger on your iPhone, every time you receive a call or browse away from the application you would be signed out, you would lose any unread messages, and your conversations would end.
