If you are a T-mobile subscriber and lucky enough to have access to corporate representatives you can go ahead and pickup the T-mobile Blackberry 8820. A user over at Pinstack recently received a brand new Blackberry 8820 from their corporate representative and contributed the following details about their unit: black, OS version 4.2.2.193, T-mobile Hotspot@Home service capable.
As with the AT&T 8820, T-mobile has decided that the existing Blackberry 8800 was not sufficient for their network especially with it’s lack of Wifi. When you offer a network that lacks 3G, Wifi really becomes an important feature when you spend millions of dollars marketing a Wifi @ Home feature for unlimited calling. Since we thoroughly enjoyed working with the T-mobile Blackberry Curve, we will surely enjoy the 8820 and hope our sales reps are able to secure a unit for our review. If anyone else manages to get their hands on a T-mobile Blackberry 8820, feel free to drop us a line or some live shots.
