ASUS P750 VGA Resolution Coming Soon

article Nick Marshall

VGA touchscreen handsets are rare these days, but even rarer than VGA handsets are manufacturers sneaking them into our devices and not telling us.  Fortunately the careful eyes of some ASUS P750 owners have brought to light some very startling news; the Asus P750 has a VGA resolution screen.  So what exactly has been uncovered; each logical pixel (pixel rendered by the device) is actually 4 physical pixels (1×1 pixels = 640×480 VGA).

ASUS P750 VGA Resolution Coming Soon

This information can be confirmed by reviewing the spec sheet of the Asus P750 which states that the screen has a “VGA/QVGA dual viewing mode”.  Currently there has been some progress on actually enabling the VGA resolution on the device, but a confirmed solution is yet to be released.  When a solution hits the Internet and we confirm that it actually enables the VGA resolution on the ASUS P750, we will drop all the details on Cellfanatic.
