Verizon is not the only friend to the LG Touch (Venus) these days as Canada’s Telus Network subscribers will have two color choices: pink and black. The LG Touch (Venus) will initially be offered in black and followed with a spring release of the phone in pink to compliment the network’s SPARK plans. With the TV, music and radio options of the SPARK plans, Telus hopes the LG Touch will be an exciting launch to bring touch screen technology and video capabilities to the masses.
“LG is excited to launch our LG Venus Touch phone in Canada with TELUS. Canadians looking for style and state-of-the-art technology will love this phone,” said Andrew Barret, vice president of Marketing, LG Electronics Canada.
Update: The Telus LG Venus is now available for $100 with a 3 year contract or $400 without contract
