The recent deal at East Coast AT&T stores for the 8GB iPhone @ 249 was a bargain in our minds, but T-Mobile Germany has an even better deal. The latest T-Mobile Germany Press release places the 8GB iPhone at prices as low as €99 ($155 USD) if you are willing to sign up for the costly €89 per month tariff service. For those of you living in Germany and hoping to get your hands on a discounted iPhone, T-Mobile has done their due diligence to make that dream a reality by offering several other options for discounted 8GB iPhones. With prices this low it only seems logical that the 3G iPhone is really coming sooner than we expected and only adds fuel to the fire after recent reports from Apple that the US is experiencing handset shortages. The only problem we see with the low end plan for 29€ is that you only receive a 100MB data allowance which is very easy to eat up with heavy emailing and all the data usage from your 3rd party applications. In any case, the pricing is aggressive and T-Mobile Germany should see a solid boost in iPhone sales now that we are coming closer to true carrier subsidized offerings for Apple’s wonder phone.
