Living in the UK would be nice, but bringing the UK-based Carphone Warehouse to the United States would be perfect.  Best Buy has struck a deal with Carphone Warehouse which will bring 1,000 retail outlets to the U.S., in a combination of stand-alone outlets and the traditional phone presentations currently found at Best Buy.  Not much unlike the current offerings at Best Buy, Carphone Warehouse was one of the first companies to offer side by side comparison offerings from a wide array of carriers.  With Best Buy being the first U.S. retailer to release the unlocked HTC Touch Dual later this year, the partnership with Carphone Warehouse should continue to bring typically unavailable handsets to the U.S. Market.  While we are not the biggest fans of Best Buy shopping, the partnership could lessen the difference between unlocked GSM handset availability in the U.S and Europe.
