Aliph Jawbone 2 headset FCC Images Surface

article Nick Marshall

If the seal of approval from Apple for Aliph’s first Jawbone headset was not enough, prepare yourself for the second generation Jawbone. Aliph’s Jawbone 2 headset has just made it’s rounds through the typical FCC filings and with it comes a very nice picture of the next-gen headset. Besides the patented audio technology that made the original Jawbone headset a success comes a sleek new body and a more compact charging connector. The Jawbone 2 will also bring the “Noise Shield” and “Voice Activity Sensor” through the combination of directional microphones, a dynamically adjusted earpiece gain and a sensor which uses vibrations of your face to track if you’re speaking and cut out extraneous noise. The other details in the FCC filing is that the Jawbone 2 will have an ear-loop and multiple sizes of earplugs like the original Jawbone.
