Britain £100 iPhone Price Cut: 3G iPhone next?

Comments

by Nick Marshall on April 15, 2008

With all the speculation of a 3G iPhone launch this June (confirmation in our books), iPhone prices have continued to drop and the latest savings can be found in Britain.  Starting tomorrow the £269 iPhone will see a £100 price cut, bringing the cost down to £169 ($330 USD) for the 8GB EDGE-only iPhone.  Major retailer and soon to be US retailer, Carphone Warehouse will be reducing the prices of their 8GB iPhones and offering £100 vouchers for those of you who recently purchased iPhones to smooth the new price tag.  At this point we are getting a little tired of hearing about price breaks since the 8GB iPhone is still $399 here in the US and the only question anyone wants answered by Apple is what day can I buy my 3G iPhone.
