The Motorola announcements are CTIA wireless and MWC Barcelona this year were a bit of a disappointment, but the details in this Motorola China Roadmap are set to impress. The first device worthy of noting is the ZN5, a 5 megapixel phone in candybar design. The second device making our list is the 5 megapixel ZN Zine Kodak phone which sports the anticipated Kodak optics and adds a second device to compete in the 5 megapixel arena. The final devices which make our list are both dual SIM dual network devices: Motorola A1800 and Motorola VE750 multimedia slider.
The VE750 is slightly more enticing since it packs a solid 2.6 inch display running at 240×400 pixels and capable of showing a wide format 16:9 ratio video. The downside to the VE750 is that it only sports a 2 megapixel camera while the A1800 brings a 3 megapixel camera and built in GPS to the table. In all, the ZN5, ZN Zine, A1800 and VE750 are four excellent devices that should bring solid sales for Motorola in China and hopefully will lead to FCC approvals and US carrier devices launches later this year.
