Design the Perfect Cellphone in LG’s Innovation Challenge

If there’s one thing we have learned from testing the latest and greatest phones it’s that there is no perfect phone (or is there?). With handset manufacturers running out of clever ideas and Apple’s wonder toy stealing sales from style enthusiasts, LG has decided to put the future in the our (your) hands. That’s right, it’s now your chance to show off your concepts for your “dream phone”. Up for grabs is a 52-inch LCD TV, a HD DVD/Blu-ray combo player and $10k in cold hard cash. As you could have guessed, all the electronics in the giveaway will be LG, but what gives with the HD DVD/Blu-ray combo drive? LG must be using the ‘if you can’t sell it, give it away’ philosophy.
