Nokia’s 5320 and 5220 Xpress Music Hit Asia and Europe

by Nick Marshall

If you love music an need a capable device with 24 hours of audio playback, the Nokia 5320 and 5220 Xpress Music devices have you covered. Both devices pack HSDPA connectivity for your 3G data speeds and the dedicated music keys would would expect on these audio-focused handsets. One of the biggest problems we encounter when using music phones has been non-standard audio jacks, but you will be able to rest easily thanks to the 3.5 millimeter outputs on both handsets. While we would have liked to see Nokia step up the camera, the 2 megapixel camera with flash and video recording will satisfy most. Both devices come in just under 10.7mm thin (.4″) with microSD slots and tri-band GSM support (900/1800/1900MHz or 850/1800/1900Mhz).

Nokia’s 5320 and 5220 Xpress Music Hit Asia in June/July

Expect both the 5320 and 5220 to be available in the June/July time-frame (Q3 2008) for roughly $253 USD (EUR160) before tax. The color choices will be limited to black, but red, blue or green accents are available for the side housing of the phones.
