Carrier Details

For starters, the HTC Touch Diamond was announced on Tuesday May 6th, so the device is 100% confirmed.  The announcement that the HTC Touch Diamond will be hitting Sprint stores later this year (October/November time-frame) is not confirmed, but the sources of the rumor are strong.  The announcement that the HTC Touch Diamond would hit Vodafone came directly from vice president of HTC Europe, Florian Seiche after making an announcement that Orange would offer the device.  The three confirmed carriers to offer the HTC Touch Diamond are Orange (GSM), Vodafone (GSM) and Sprint/Nextel (CDMA).  With GSM carriers offering the HTC Touch Diamond, At&t seems like the logical choice for US GSM, but the strong bond with T-Mobile and HTC could also lead to a release on their network as well

TouchFLO 3D

TouchFLO is the interface we have grown to love (or hate) on our HTC Touch and HTC Touch Duals, but the HTC Touch Diamond brings TouchFLO 3D.  The Diamond will be the first device from HTC to offer the TouchFLO 3D finger-friendly interface which is a user interface layer for Windows Mobile Professional devices.  The easiest way to understand TouchFLO 3D is a video, so below we have included a quick little video walkthrough to give you an idea of what you can expect on your new HTC Touch Diamond later this year.
