We have no complaints when it comes to the 5 megapixel optics found on Nokia’s lineup of super phones, but the new K-touch C280 has decided to raise the bar. The new K-touch C280 sports a 8 megapixel CMOS sensor and thanks to DIGIC III image processing by Canon, the C280 is out to break history for camera phones. The 8 megapixel C280 delivers 1600 ISO and 3x optical zoom, making it one of a kind and for a little icing on the cake, Samsung might be providing the CMOS bits. The price and availability of the device is still unconfirmed at this point, but China has been selected as the launching grounds for this impressive little device. The real questions left unanswered are what quality of video recording the C280 is capable of and what type of video formats it can save on the device. With Nokia’s VGA recording and the 120fps recording of LG’s lineup, our expectations are going to be very high for K-touch’s C280.
