Yesterday we told you about the MDA Vario IV, known to the rest of the world as the HTC Raphael or HTC Touch Pro.  Today we add two other devices coming to T-mobile Germany in the coming weeks; the T-mobile MDA Compact IV and the follow up to the Ameo which we will call the Ameo 2 until further announcements.  The first device, the T-mobile MDA Compact IV is actually a device we are familiar with and will see launch on Sprint’s network later this year, the HTC Touch Diamond.  What makes the T-mobile MDA Compact IV different than the HTC Touch Diamond is that it has been custom built for T-mobile with support for HSDPA and HSUPA connectivity.  With your built in GPS receiver, 4 GB of internal storage and a 3.2 megapixel camera, T-mobile customers should have little doubt in choosing the MDA Compact IV over the existing HTC Touch or HTC Touch Dual.

The second device on the list, the follow up to the Ameo will be very similar to the HTC Shift and fall into the UMPC category of cell phones.  With 16GB of internal memory and a detachable QWERTY keyboard, this device is geared towards the user looking to leave behind a laptop and converge full desktop quality computing with their mobile.  Spec wise it has nearly the same 528MHz processor, 256MB RAM/512MB ROM and runs Windows Mobile 6.1.  The launch date for the Ameo 2 will be in July on T-mobile Germany.  As far as pricing goes, none of the devices have been given official price tags, but we will be sure to update our readers as details emerge.
