Well we did already know 99% of the specs before today, but on the official side of things T-mobile Germany released a flyer and spec sheet outlining the complete details. The flyer eliminates any speculation regarding the T-mobile MDA Vario IV and now brings out the possibility of some very nice comparisons with other hot phones stirring up rumors such as the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1. With the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 hitting European shores later this year, 2008 is shaping up to be the year of the smartphone. While browsing through the T-mobile Germany flyer for the MDA Vario IV we noticed that it says UMTS/HSDPA 850/2100 MHz, but this would be of little use in Germany and we believe that it is a typo for 900 MHz.
