Go ahead and add this to the ‘rumor’ pile, but according to WMExperts a recent meeting for At&t Store Managers had a few manufacturer reps showing off some upcoming device releases. Included in the devices was a BlackBerry Bold and the Samsung SGH-i788, also known as the Blackjack III. With a US spec SGH-i788 ready for 3G networks here in the states comes the big question, when? While no details were given on a release date as the rep flaunted the device in store managers eyes, some key details were noticed by the watchful eyes.
First the Blackjack III (SGH-i788) is thicker than the Blackjack II and features a ‘wierd mouse pointer’. There is also a telescoping stylus and to end speculation the device had At&t branding. The device is reported to be ‘pretty light considering what it packs’ and the best guess is that the Blackjack III will launch by the time the Treo 850 drops. Let the Blackjack III frenzy begin!
