BlackBerry Bold launching July 25th on Rogers Canada

Sorry At&t users you will have to hold tight a good two to four weeks before you get to join in on the fun.  Rogers Canada has just announced that the BlackBerry Bold (9000 Series) will be available to all consumers July 25th online and in all retail stores.  The big question for those of us not in Canada is whether it is worth unlocking the Rogers BlackBerry Bold and trying to use it on At&t or wait it out.  If the battery delays and software issues are really plaguing an At&t launch until late September I am sure that more than a few of you Crackberry addicts will make the plunge for the unlocked Bold on eBay, but what about the rest of us?

Unfortunately although the July 25th release date has been confirmed, Rogers has not released the pricing information.  Hopefully the iPhone 3G pressure is enough to convince RIM to lower the Bold to rock bottom prices and gives us the best BlackBerry at the best price to date.  Probably not going to happen folks, but it doesn’t hurt to dream now does it?
