Telus launching CDMA HTC Touch Diamond August 14th

by Nick Marshall

This week is big in the world of Canada’s CDMA network Telus.  The company is scheduled to release their own version of the highly anticipated HTC Touch Diamond in CDMA form.  Much like the HTC Victor, the Telus HTC Touch Diamond will feature more rounded edges and it will come pre-installed with the Opera mobile browser.  The 2.8 screen running at VGA resolution (640 x 480) will definitely give Telus customers locked out of iPhone 3G dreams a chance to have the best high end smartphone experience.  The HTC Touch Diamond will be available from TELUS this week, August 14th, for $149.99 on a three-year contract or $449.99 without contract.
