BlackBerry Bold 9000 free in the Netherlands, sorry Canada

With the news that Rogers Canada would be charging a pretty penny for the BlackBerry Bold 9000 (39,999 pennies to be exact), we warn all prospective Canadian Bold owners to close their eyes at this time.  Dutch cellular operator KPN has just announced they will be offering the BlackBerry Bold 9000 for free on a 2 year contract with a EUR 36.25 ($54/month) plan.

To add salt to the wound, subscribers looking to spend a little less coin will be able to pickup the Bold for EUR 99.95 ($148) on a EUR 26.75 plan.  It looks like only the US is left in the dust with the BlackBerry Bold news as At&t’s web page reserved for the Bold 9000 has remained unchanged since its inception nearly 2 months ago.
