The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 is still awaiting an official launch but this hasn’t stopped SE from leaking pictures of the next generation XPERIA, the X5. We are unclear where the numbering comes from since X2, X3, X4 seem to have been skipped, but what we can tell you are the rumored specs:
The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X5 specifications:
- 8 megapixel camera with autofocus and Xenon flash
- 8GB of internal memory
- Full Touchscreen (resolution unknown)
- Wi-Fi, GPS, UMTS (3G)
- 3.2 inch screen
- M2 memory slot
No information has been leaked for a price or release date, but considering the XPERIA X1 will not be out until October of this year, don’t expect a launch until late 2009.
