The new flagship handset from LG has just been announced, delivering the only 8 megapixel multimedia phone with a full touch screen interface.  At only 13.95mm thick, the LG-KC910 will be the slimmest 8 megapixel handset much like the LG Viewty was the slimmest 5 megapixel.  The big news with the LG-KC910 is that the 8 megapixel camera was developed to included Schneider-Kreuznach certified optics, a xenon flash and ISO sensitivity up to 1600, which will deliver images that could surpass the best from Nokia.  The LG-KC910 can record video from 5fps up to 120fps, which allows it to record in both fast and slow motion. The phone also plays DivX and Xvid movies straight out of the box, without the need for additional encoding.

Beyond the excellent optics, the KC910 brings a WQVGA resolution 3.0 inch touchscreen display.  To control the device a customizable interface with widgets and shortcuts makes navigating the device a breeze.  While on the road, the A-GPS receiver handles your navigation needs and 3G data connectivity via HSDPA at up to 7.2 Mbps.  Wi-Fi is also a standard feature on the LG-KC910 as is ‘Jogging Buddy’, a program that uses the GPS receiver to help track workouts.  The KC910 will be available to purchase in early October

Release Date: early October 2008
