Best Buy sells the iPhone Sunday, it’ll cost ya

article Nick Marshall

Start your engines, this Sunday September 7th Best Buy will begin selling the Apple iPhone 3G across stores nationwide.  Despite the $199 and $299 price tags (8GB/16GB), the real plan is that Best Buy can lure you into one of their ‘accessory packages’ which range from $106 to $236.  Assuming you did fall for the bait, purchasing any of these accessory packages would warrant you free phone and email setup, something the Apple Store would do for FREE.

We are all in support of the Geek Squad for those needed a little bit of loving care when it comes to tech, but this takes nickle and diming the consumer to a whole new level.  If you need help setting up your iPhone 3G, visit an Apple Store or setup an appointment with the Genius Bar, it’s free.
