Neo Ellipse ‘banana phone’ launches

The Neo Ellipse, currently not available in the US, has just released today now that they’ve secured their place in the Indian Mobile Market.  While we would not go so far as to suggest that we dig the style, we appreciate the creative design and the overall measurements of the Ellipse.  At only 110 x 44 x 15mm with each end tapering down to just 3mm, the Neo Ellipse is one of the first devices in a very long time that we consider revolutionary in style.

We have started sales this month into the major retail chains like Hotspots, Cellucom and The Phone Store,” says Amjad Ali, Senior Vice President of Neo DWC-LLC. He continues to say, “It has taken us some time to enter this market but now that we are in, our design driven brand will add some flavor to the Indian mobile phone market.”

Neo is currently only available in Hong Kong, Bangalore, New Dehli and Mumbai, but with a successful launch we might start seeing more locations on the grid.  If waiting is not your thing and you’d like to take a ride on the Neo Ellipse go ahead and visit their site here.
