Nokia N95 adds N-Gage support with v30 firmware

by Nick Marshall on September 5, 2008 · 0 comments

Owners of the original Nokia N95 can now download firmware v30 through the Nokia Software Updater.  Included in the new firmware is N-Gage support along with Maps 2.0, Nokia Search 4.0, Share on Ovi and a few other changes and improvements.  Unfortunately there are no details on support for the Nokia N95 8GB and NAM editions so you will want to make sure you have a Nokia N95-1 before attempting to update your device.

In order to update your device you will need the Nokia Software Updater Application found here.  If you are using a N95 other than the N95-1, you can also check for an update here.  For a full list of the changes in the v30 firmware hit the link below.
