At&t knocks Sprint off its Touch Pro high horse

That’s right folks, Engadget Mobile is reporting that the At&t HTC Touch Pro, officially known as the At&t HTC Fuze, will be launching in the near future on the carrier’s network.  A few lucky pages from At&t, Cached by Google can be credited with this find and we couldn’t be happier.  Besides the completely legit photos we’ve seen in the past, today we now know that HSDPA, GPS, WiFi and BlackBerry Connect are all confirmed as well as support for At&t’s Cellular Video (CV) service.  The At&t HTC Fuze is the future of At&t’s Windows Mobile 6.1 campaign and will soon replace the At&t Tilt.

No details on price or a release date were leaked in the pages Cached by Google, but the good news here is that the device will be coming.  After the marker page for the At&t BlackBerry Bold launching months ago, it is hard to tell why type of time frame At&t intends with the HTC Fuze, but one thing is for certain, Sprint will be facing some stiff competition with triband 3G connectivity on At&t’s Touch Pro.
