Verizon LG VX9600 3 inch Touchscreen Mystery Device

The FCC website left a clue this evening, describing a device we heard rumored in the past but never had any official confirmation.  Based on the FCC documents, the LG VX9600 looks to be a CDMA 850/1900 EVDO capable device headed to Verizon Wireless.  It will feature a 3 inch touchscreen display running at 480×240 pixels and feature some sort of 3D Graphical UI.  A QWERTY keyboard and Game Pad are also rumored to be included, but we have not seen any confirmation in this regard.  The last two verifiable features are a MP3 player and Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP (Stereo Bluetooth).

At this point, the LG VX9600 is still for the most part a mystery device.  We have no receieved any confirmation from either LG or Verizon regarding the device, but as usual we aren’t expecting much on their end.  Since the confidentiality request was requested on August 29th and will last approximately 180 days, it shouldn’t be long before we start seeing some external photos popping up across the Internet.
