article Nick Marshall

The highly anticipated release of the Treo Pro in Germany has just been confirmed for September 23rd.  According to our friends at the::unwired, Vodafone will become the first Germany carrier to offer the Treo Pro as the device will replace the aging Treo 750v.  With Palm’s U.S. website currently taking pre-orders for the unlocked Treo Pro, it looks like the end of the month will bring packages to our doorstep.

According to Palm’s Eurosite, “Order fulfillment will commence week beginning 22nd September for France, Germany and Switzerland, and week beginning 15th September in other countries”.  The expectation is high for the latest and greatest from Palm’s Treo Pro as many analysts are expecting that Windows Mobile will help push Palm’s value up by 30% over the next 12 months.  Only time will tell, but in the meantime if you are not lucky enough to be using Vodafone Germany, hop onto Palm’s website and place your pre-order.
