If waiting for Google’s launch party is not your idea of a good time, you will be able to see the T-mobile HTC Dream / G1 / Google Phone in stores starting October 11th as shipments start arriving. Unfortunately you will not be able to take home the Dream until Friday October 17th, but it wouldn’t hurt to give it a test run at the store first. As we have previously mentioned, the HTC Dream will introduced for $199 on a 2 year contract/upgrade for new and existing T-mobile subscribers. It has been rumored that T-mobile will start taking pre-orders for the device immediately following the September 23rd Press Conference. At this point we have seen 3 color variations of the HTC Dream: Black, White and Red, but it is unclear which or if all 3 colors will be available at launch.
