It looks like T-mobile let the cat out of the bag a bit early on the Google Phone this morning. When logging into the T-mobile.com, a user over at Engadget noticed that the first device listed on the sidebar was the HTC Dream, now officially known as the T-mobile G1. It was a bit unclear how T-mobile would handle the naming of the first ever Android-powered device sold in the United States, but the trademark logo is your official indicator that T-mobile G1 will remain. Unfortunately it looks like T-mobile has since changed the my.t-mobile page and now the G1 has been replaced with a standard promotion for MyFaves services.

In any case it is not a big deal since Tuesday T-mobile will make their official announcement in a Press Release. Formal Media Kits and an expanded spec sheet will follow, but we do not expect to see any surprises and our existing rumored specs should prove solid.
