GSM Touchscreen BlackBerry Storm, No More Thunder

article Nick Marshall

Verizon might be the first kid on the block releasing the BlackBerry Storm, but a great deal of news is emerging shedding light on other carriers’ plans.  While Verizon Wireless launches the BlackBerry Storm, a GSM-only version will be hitting Europe and it will be dropping the Thunder name in favor of the ‘Storm’.  In this GSM version of the first-ever touchscreen BlackBerry, we will see the same 3.2 megapixel camera with video recording capabilities, 1GB of internal memory plus microSD slot for up to 8GB more and full 7.2 HSDPA 3G connectivity.  Now the moment you have all been waiting for, the specs.
