How could Verizon Wireless pass up a chance to drop the highly-anticipated specifications for the first-ever touchcreen BlackBerry? Well lucky for us, Verizon jumped at the opportunity and today we have what we believe is the finalized BlackBerry Storm features and specifications. If you have been following our coverage of the GSM 9500 series BlackBerry Storm you will notice that the two devices are nearly identical except for EVDO Rev A support on Verizon’s model and the support for Verizon’s packaged products (VZ Navigator, VCast Music/Video/MobileTV)

As far as the release date and pricing, no new details here. We expect to see the Verizon BlackBerry Storm hit retail stores during the first week of November, but we wouldn’t mind seeing the device launch sooner. With the announcement that the HTC Dream/T-mobile G1 would be launching October 22nd, it might be enough to convince RIM and Verizon to move up the release date. In any event, we will keep you posted as usual so stay tuned for more BlackBerry Storm news.
