LG HB620T Delivers DVB-T to Europe

by Nick Marshall on September 26, 2008 · 0 comments

South Korean cell phone manufacturer, LG has been busy working on revamping their lineup of devices for Fall 2008.  Today another LG device, the DVB-T equipped HB620T, has broken cover and is set to release soon in Europe.  It looks like LG is attacking every OS, form factor and multimedia standard for their attack on the wireless community.  Not much is known about the HB620T at this time, but we have learned that it will be making a debut in Germany before the end of the year.

Beyond the release, the HB620T will feature HSDPA connectivity and support full web browsing on its 2 inch screen.  France, Greek, Czech and Austria are also possible targets for a consequent launch, where DVB-T is a commercialized service.
