With only a few weeks before the first Android-powered device, T-mobile G1, releases to the general public, Google has posted a video demonstrating Google search functionality in Android. The search fuction can be accessed from any application either by a standalone search button or search widgets. In certain applications you can just type your search query directly and it will open the search UI automatically. The most popular method of searching will still be done from the home screen, but the embedded search functionality is shaping up to be a solid component of the OS.
