Verizon Wireless Launching Samsung Sway October 15th

article Nick Marshall

Verizon Wireless can now add another mid-range slider phone to their device repertoire later this October.  On October 15th, the carrier will be launching the slim slider, Samsung Swap (SCH-U650) for $69.99 on a 2 year contract after mail-in rebate.  The ‘Sway’ has been described as ‘think, silver, and attractive’, but for the high-end smartphone user out there it probably won’t see more than a quick glance.  For those of you willing to dig a bit deeper you will find a 2 megapixel camera, video recording, Bluetooth, a microSD slot, instant messaging capabilities, personal organizer options, text/multimedia messaging, and a speakerphone.  Bottom line, if you are looking for a stylish and affordable handset that can get the job done without breaking the bank, look no further than the Samsung Sway.
