We’ve heard of strict policies, but after the iPhone 3G lost it’s high-speed data due to Chinese regulations, we thought the nitpicking was over. Â Unfortunately for those of you hoping to get your hands on the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic in China, expect your device to be missing both 3G and WiFi. Â According to the Nokia Forum, the Chinese version is a “2G variant without WLAN” which essentially kills any thoughts of wireless streaming for video content or a smooth web browsing experience. Â Looks like you will actually have to use your 5800 XpressMusic for music because there is no way a front-facing camera is finding its way to a 2G-only variant.
