The U.S. might not be one of the 7 countries launching the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic by Christmas 08, but this is not stopping the device from making its round with the FCC.  The device was spotted in the FCC database earlier this morning along with one critical detail: no HSDPA 850/1900 support.  In simple terms this means no 3G speeds for At&t customers here in the states and that the version going through testing is a non-U.S. release.  While we continue to wait for a US 3G model coming in 2009, the appearance in the FCC database is always an encouraging sign of things to come.
