Verizon Wireless Names Mark Harris Vice President Of National Government Sales And Operations

LAUREL, MD — Verizon Wireless has named Mark Harris vice president of National Government Sales and Operations based in the company’s regional headquarters in Laurel, Md. Harris replaces Mike Maiorana who was named president of the company’s Washington/Baltimore/Virginia region.

markharris08h4web1 Verizon Wireless Names Mark Harris Vice President Of National Government Sales And Operations Harris is responsible for managing sales and customer service, negotiating customer agreements, and ensuring compliance in working with federal government accounts nationwide.

Formerly director of the company’s Communications Store channel in the Southern New England region, Harris brings 12 years experience in the wireless industry to the new assignment.

Harris has also held leadership assignments in business sales for the company’s Upstate New York and Washington/Baltimore/Virginia regions. In previous assignments as Federal Government National Account and Major Account manager, Harris was responsible for managing the company’s largest nationwide customer relationship.

Harris was named to the 2003 and 2006 Verizon Wireless President’s Cabinet, a prestigious national acknowledgement for his sales performance and leadership in customer loyalty initiatives.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University.
