At&t’s NYC BlackBerry Bold launch party without the Bold

article Nick Marshall

When you have Madonna and Michael Phelps at your NYC device launch party it is pretty much expected that the device would be on hand.  Unfortunately for At&t, the BlackBerry Bold never made an appearance last night and instead attendees received I.O.U.’s with the promise of a BlackBerry Bold.  It might be time to start crossing those fingers and hope we don’t see a Storm launch before the Bold.  There have been no updates to the At&t Bold release date other than the mention by At&t last week that the device was still undergoing testing.  Let the RIM and At&t finger pointing blame game continue, hopefully they are handing out Bold’s at the BlackBerry Developer Conference this Sunday.
